Architecture

Architecture photography captures human creativity -- creativity of design, engineering, construction, and use. My goal, when photographing an architectural object, is to capture the design, context, and interaction with the environment. An objective is to deliver photos useful for marketing copy, publication, and display ranging from trade show booths to websites (through downsampling.) My images are all captured at 300 dpi (native in the camera) -- ideal for printing. Through multiple-exposure captures, some of the photos below are more than 100 megapixels in their native format (the website photos are downsampled to approximately one megapixel.)

I can also take medium- and large-format photographs using slide film for a unique or bold look. Film photographs lend themselves well to digital enhancement and manipulation. In fact, some of the photos in this portfolio were captured on film.
